1. Massage

Head massages are not only for relieving pain and stress after a long tiring day, but it also induces hair growth. Massage helps in improving the blood circulation in your scalp and spreads natural oils evenly over your hair. Keep in mind, use your fingertips, not your fingernails and make sure that you are gentle on your hair, being rash won’t help. Oil massage is especially recommended in ayurveda to reduce the dryness and provide lubrication to the scalp.

2. Hair masks

  • Yogurt and apple cider vinegar

Take a cup of yogurt and add half cup of apple cider vinegar and a tablespoon of honey. Apply this mask for ten to fifteen minutes and rinse your hair with water. This mask helps to prevent split ends and treats itchy scalp.

  • Banana and honey hair mask

Take two ripe bananas and blend them in a jar. Add two table spoon of honey and one table spoon of apple cider vinegar. Apply this mask to dry hair. Cover your head for at least 30 minutes and then wash it out with a shampoo. Use this conditioner once a week. It will help you to keep your hair hydrated and healthy.

  • Egg hair mask

Protein is very essential for stronger and thicker hair. The best source of protein is egg. Take one egg and beat it properly. Apply the beaten egg on wet hair and leave it for about 30 minutes. Wash your hair with lukewarm water and shampoo. Apply this mask twice a week for stronger, thicker and shinier hairs.

  • Aloe Vera gel

Take 2-3 spoons of aloe Vera gel in a bowl. Add two tablespoon of coconut oil and a tablespoon of amla oil. Mix it well and leave for 15 minutes. Then add one capsule of Vitamin E oil and apply this mask on your scalp. For best results leave the mask overnight and wash it off with a mild shampoo. Gently massage your scalp while applying to improve the blood circulation.

  • Green tea

Green tea is high in Vitamins and antioxidants that help in improving the blood circulation and provides moisture to the scalp. Boil green tea leaves in a cup of water and leave it to cool. Use this water as the final rinse after washing your hair. It provides volume and shine to the hairs.

  • Henna

Henna works as natural dye for Grey hairs, reduces dandruff and breakage. Its strengthen hair and promotes hair growth. Add a tablespoon of olive oil and Vitamin E to give extra nourishment and to prevent dryness and split ends. Apply this mask once a month to get silky and shiny hairs.

  • Egg white and Olive Oil

This is another egg hair mask which works as the best hair conditioner. Separate the egg white and the yolks of two eggs. Take the egg white and add two tablespoon of olive oil in it. Apply this mask for 1 hour and rinse it with a shampoo.

  • Never use a comb for wet hair. The roots of wet hair are very weak and can easily break.
  • Try to avoid warm products as it damages the hairs and results into split ends and breakage
  • Oiling is very essential for hair growth. Oiling provides extra nourishment to the hair and also prevents dryness.
